About
Section
The forum is dedicated to the achievements of clinical oncology over the past 20 years. During this time, oncologists have received at least several classes of effective antitumor weapons: targeted therapy ("small" molecules), targeted antibodies ("mabs"), immunotherapy. These areas are developing intensively, which has made it possible to significantly improve treatment outcomes. Indeed, who would have expected 20 years ago that almost half of patients with aggressive metastatic melanoma would be able to survive a 5-year period, and with metastatic ALK+ lung cancer, the median survival rate would significantly exceed the duration of this important indicator. Today, we already have dozens of molecules in our arsenal that block various pathways of tumor development. At our symposium, oncologists will receive information that we hope will make it possible to improve the treatment outcomes of cancer patients.
About
Section
Over the past decades, there has been a significant improvement in the effectiveness of treatment of cancer patients with various locations. Despite this, the neglect ratio among patients with head and neck tumors, unfortunately, remains high, which in turn causes great concern. This forum is dedicated not only to innovative approaches, but also sets new challenges and tasks for us, uniting a community of various specialists (oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, etc.), whose efforts, in turn, give hope to our patients for recovery. Therefore, studying the causes of this phenomenon, as well as ways to overcome them, is definitely relevant and necessary. We hope for our great cooperation, substantive discussions and unforgettable impressions.
